Greece Action Project

Greece Action Project

Based on the stunning island of Kefalonia, we offer 3 meaningful short term Action Projects, with a focus on animal welfare, the environment and marine conservation.

These exciting projects are a great way to do something meaningful while travelling. The flexible duration of these projects may fit with other travel plans, or could be combined with a Lattitude long term placement in perhaps Spain, or Poland (or the UK if you are a non-UK national) to give you an even more meaningful experience while exploring another country in your time off.

Our Animal Welfare Action Projects are available all year around, with duration options of 2 -12 weeks, and a 2 week Marine Conservation programme can be added on during June to September.

Volunteers are able to choose between one or even all of these projects. You can create your own unique experience, which you can plan directly with the Country Manager based in Kefalonia during your personal interview.

Accommodation is in dormitory style shared rooms in either the Lattitude Action Project hostel (sleeps up to 8 people with shared bathroom & kitchen facilities) or one of the placement ‘hostels’. The Lattitude hostel is in the island capital of Argostoli, with fabulous views of the town, the sea and mountains.

Hostel in Kefalonia
