How to make a book
• Download the FREE software
Download our FREE software from the Vanilla Photobooks website, simply choose the Mac or PC version
• Install the software
After downloading, double-click on the file and follow the easy installation instructions - Now it’s time to get creative!
• Prepare your digital photos
Ensure that you have your folder of digital photos ready on your computer, in this case we have placed a folder of high resolution jpeg photos into a folder on the desktop
• Launch the Vanilla Photobook Creator Software
Launch the software by clicking on the shortcut icon – the software will automatically check for updates and inform you if new products or improvements to the software are available
• Choose your photobook format
Choose your desired photobook format from the list and click the ‘Next’ button – you can also choose from other photoproducts such as calendars and calendar
• Name your project
Give your project a name and click the “Create’ button
• Add your photos
Add your photos to the image library by clicking the ‘+’ button in the pictures tab. Select your folder of images and they will be added to your project
• Autoflow your images into the preset template
Autoflow your images into the template using the ‘Autoflow’ button – this will insert your photographs into the layout according to their orientation
• Adjust your layouts
You can adjust the layout, add text / backgrounds etc using the user friendly and intuitive tools until you are totally happy with your design. The drag and drop functions make creating a photobook both quick and easy
• Place your order
Click on the order button and follow the simple instructions. Your photobook file is uploaded and transferred to us for printing. Payment via credit or debit card is completely secure and all data encrypted for your protection
