Making an Application

Returned volunteers can put themselves forward for this award, be nominated by the host, by a member of staff at Lattitude or by another returned volunteer.

Awardees will receive a donation to further their charitable objectives or contribute to their ongoing projects.

To apply you will need to:

  1. Write c. 500 words about the charitable projects you have been involved in since returning from your placement, the objectives of those projects and how you have gone about raising funds to help further those objectives to date (if applicable). It is important to also write about how the financial donation would be used to further the objectives if you were to receive the award.
  2. The nominations panel which is made up of Lattitude staff and members of the Alumni will review all applications and notify those who are short listed.
  3. Short listed applications will be sent to the Chair of the Adrian Evans Award fund (Ingela Evans) and the successful applicant will be notified. An invitation to a presentation event is also typical – previous winners have received their award from Lattitude’s Patron, HRH The Princess Royal.
